Being a fool for love in April

[]
I would gladly be a fool,
For there is so strong a pull,
You have to break the rule,
Yet never lose your cool.
It was first in the eyes,
The thing that tells no lies,
With it, you rise and rise,
And put away your sighs.
The beauty of your face,
Does my heart quite race,
With you, I’m in a place,
Where I find true solace.
The month of April brings,
A treasure trove of things,
Let you and I on wings,
Get beyond the basic flings.
And soon we plan to meet,
Our hearts would skip a beat,
When we do hug and greet,
It really would be sweet.
I would gladly be a fool,
It’s love that is the pull,
Let’s make another rule,
For with you I feel so cool.
